Grab a copy of ‘Fish’ by Stephen C Lundin to help with turning your culture around.
Define your vision – What is important to you and your company’s success.
Select core values that are personal to you so you embody and carry them out.
Ensure your core values are action words that support the values and behaviours you have selected i.e. they can easily be demonstrated.
Print a copy of the ‘Your Values Roadmap’.
Have three times you sit down and list all your core values in your head. Pick your top 9.
Place your top 9 into the worksheet titled ‘Your Visual Grid.’
Make your core values visual using Canva so you can explain to your team what it looks like to uphold them and vice versa when they flip over the core value card.
Explain the benefit of when they are carried out successfully to give context and what the down side is when it is not done and what they will do to redeem the situation.
Select two core values per week to concentrate on upholding and prove examples of this during meetings using our ‘Daily KPA Worksheet’.
Celebrate your culture by constantly referring to it.
When someone on your team upholds a value, reward them on the spot as you see it, write it down and refer to it during the weekly meetings and reward behaviour publicly.
Use your core values to reference during your staff reviews quarterly to indicate how they are tracking and progressing.
